Outrage in Alfàs del Pi: 19 cats disappear from a protected colony!

Outrage in Alfàs del Pi: 19 cats disappear from a protected colony!

19 de marzo de 20263 min

Cats Club Benidorm raises its voice alongside Appa L’Alfàs del Pi to denounce the illegal removal of cats and demand immediate justice.

At Cats Club Benidorm, we want to express our total and absolute support for Appa Lalfas Del Pi in this very important fight! 🐱💪❤️

We share with indignation and anger the public complaint they are making: the Magic Robin Hood hotel in El Albir (l'Alfàs del Pi) has hired a pest control company that is capturing and taking away cats from a protected feline colony. Up to 19 cats have been stolen so far! 😡

We applaud the courage of the volunteers from Appa who continue to fight tirelessly to find out where the others are and to hold the hotel and the company accountable.

You are not alone! From Cats Club Benidorm, we join this call:

Let’s spread this injustice widely!

Let’s demand justice for these innocents!

Let’s collaborate with Appa and other associations to protect all the cats in the area!

If you can, share, report if you have information, and support these warriors who defend the most vulnerable.

For the cats of Alfàs and for all abandoned felines! 🐾✊

Appa Lalfas del Pi

From our association Appa Protección Animal, we are making a call to publicly denounce the crime being committed in our municipality by the Robin Hood hotel in El Albir, Alfaz del Pi. They are jeopardizing the animal welfare of one of our colonies 😡 This hotel has hired a pest control company, who are taking away the members of this colony. We want it to be known that all cats in Alfaz del Pi and their colonies are protected by municipal ordinance and animal welfare law. All the cats in the municipality are registered and counted in the town hall, so this hotel and the company are committing theft, in addition to animal cruelty due to the conditions in which they are taken. So far, 19 cats have been stolen from us, and we will not stop until we know where they have been taken and what has happened to them; and until the company and the Robin Hood hotel pay for this atrocity and mistreatment. We ask for help so that everyone knows what is happening! We will not rest until we fight for these poor innocents! We managed to free nine of them, but while we were filing the complaint, more were taken away; we tried to prevent it by all means, with two volunteers almost run over by the van, they managed to leave the premises thanks to the help of this hotel. We ask for collaboration from all citizens and help from all possible associations 🙌
