Blue: the blue-eyed survivor who deserves a second chance 💙🐱
We introduce you to Blue, the latest addition to Cats Club Benidorm. After being rescued from a colony in very poor health, this sweet kitten is now receiving all the care he needs and showing every day how affectionate and grateful he is.
Blue has been part of a colony for some time, but a few weeks ago we started to notice that something was wrong: his little head was increasingly tilted, dirty liquid was coming out of his ears, and he was losing a lot of weight.
😔 A week ago, we decided to bring him in with us. Our trusted veterinarian has examined him and he is now on antibiotic treatment for the infection. However, in recent days we discovered that he also had a lot of diarrhea… we tested him and he tested positive for giardia. Poor thing has it all together… 💔 Despite all the discomfort and distress he must be experiencing, Blue is a sweetheart. He is good, calm, and incredibly grateful for every cuddle and care he receives. His name could be nothing else: for those impressive blue eyes he has! We promise you that inside he is just as beautiful as he is on the outside. ✨ He is currently in a temporary foster home where he is being cared for with so much love and dedication.
There he receives all the cuddles, medication, and attention he needs to recover little by little. Infinite thanks to this foster family for opening their home to him! ❤️🙏 When he is fully recovered and strong, we will find him a home. We don’t want him to spend another day on the street.
