Rescued from the streets, Musa needed urgent care for a painful infection. Now she is safe and slowly learning to trust. ๐พ๐
Welcome to the family, #MUSA! ๐๐ฑ
A week ago, we rescued this beautiful cat that our feeders had been observing for some time. She was quite plump, and we thought she might be pregnant... So we lovingly prepared a special room for her and her future kittens.
But a few days later, we noticed that her nipples were very swollen ๐. We took her urgently to our trusted veterinarian, and the diagnosis was mastitis (an infection in the mammary glands), likely caused by a hormonal change.
Since she was sedated for a thorough examination, we took the opportunity to spay her to prevent further issues in the future. She is now on antibiotic treatment and is gradually recovering in her quiet space.
We have named her Musa. She is still very reluctant to human contact (she is a pure street cat), but we are working slowly to earn her trust day by day. Itโs just a matter of time and a lot of love! ๐พโค๏ธ
