Today we say goodbye with a broken heart to our Cece, who finally experienced the warmth of a true home and unconditional love, even if it was only for a short time.

💔 Today has been a very sad day for the entire Cats Club Benidorm family, Cece has left us.
She had been with us for almost 4 years. She was brought to us very pregnant, and we welcomed her into a safe place so she could give birth to her little ones. All her kittens found families, but Cece never had that luck. No one noticed her.
Gradually, her health began to deteriorate. Several health issues appeared, and we knew that her time was limited. She lived in a foster home with many feline companions, but our colleague Pilar wanted to gift her a few final months of love and unconditional care in her home. Thanks to that beautiful gesture, Cece finally got to know what it is like to live in a real home, feeling loved and pampered. We will always be grateful for that act of kindness.
Two days ago, she stopped eating and had a urinary infection. After tests, we saw that her kidneys were already too damaged. Yesterday, we made the difficult decision to let her go without suffering.
Today, @martalocuida went to the foster home (even on a Saturday) to accompany her in her final moments and ensure she left in peace.
Cece, we can only say that all the volunteers loved you very much. You were our spoiled girl, the one who always received food secretly from the others and who stole our hearts with just your gaze.
Wherever you are now, rest peacefully and without pain, little one. Watch over all those who remain here from the sky.
We will always love you. ❤️🐾
Every contribution helps us rescue, care for, and find loving homes for abandoned cats in Benidorm.

This little one has arrived to us with serious injuries, but he is already showing how much of a fighter he is. Tomorrow will be an important day for Kimba. Let's keep our fingers crossed. 🤞❤️

This little one, just 4 months old, was found injured and scared, but thanks to the collaboration of many people, today he is safe. Now it's time to care for him and support him in his recovery. 🐱💙

At last, we are making this dream come true! On Saturday, September 26th, you will have the chance to meet some of our kitties in person and, who knows, perhaps find your new life companion. 🐾💛
